Richard Cusson

Managing Director

Richard’s involvement with smartcards dates back to 1987 when he joined Groupe Bull, the French smartcard pioneer. He later held the positions of International Sales Director for Bull CP8 (ATMs, EFTPOS and Smartcards) in Paris from 1992 to 1995 and General Manager of Bull’s South-East Asian Operations from 1996 to 1999 (Malaysia). Richard then joined Keycorp in 1999 and spent 3 years at the corporate Head Office in Australia as a founding member and the General Manager of their nascent smartcard division. In September 2008 Gemalto, the world leader in digital security, purchased Keycorp’s smartcard division and created Multos International. After a few years in China (2011-2013), Richard is back in Montreal, Canada from where he manages Multos International and its associated companies. Richard is a graduate from l’École des Hautes Etudes Commerciales (HEC), Montreal.

Andrea Vuletic

Manager, Technical Services

Andrea’s involvement in smartcard industry began in 1994 when she joined the company to establish and lead the newly formed smartcard development team tasked to deliver the first SIM card developed in Australia. Since then she held team leader, project management and Smartcard R&D General Management roles, providing leadership and direction to the development team. With years of expertise gained in many smartcard projects, Andrea is now leading the team of Smartcard Technical Experts providing consultancy and technical support services to MULTOS customers embarking on banking and identity projects worldwide. Andrea holds Bachelor Degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering from the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, Zagreb, Croatia.

Graeme Bradford

Vice President - Marketing

Graeme joined the organization in 1997 and during that time worked on the company’s core secure products and solutions. His roles have ranged from engineering, project management, product management, Regional Director for US/Latin America and now as VP Marketing heading up the marketing and product management. With over 20 years experience in the payments and telecommunications industries, he has extensive knowledge of transaction systems, smartcard technologies and has been involved in large global EMV and identity projects. Graeme holds Bachelor degrees in Engineering and Information Technology from QUT (Queensland) and a Masters of Business Administration from University of Southern Queensland.

Laurence Sterling

Vice President - Technology

Laurence’s involvement with MULTOS dates back to 1997 when he joined the development team that created Keycorp’s first MULTOS implementation. Since then he has developed core operating system software, managed many projects and security evaluations of MULTOS products. Currently, Laurence is responsible for the ongoing product development and management of Multos International’s product range. Laurence has a degree in Computer Science from the University of Canberra.

Michael Crawford

Vice President - Operations

Michael has been involved with smartcards since joining the company in 1996 in a variety of engineering and operations roles, and currently leading the supply chain and operations with Multos International. Prior to that, Michael worked as a process engineer and manufacturing engineer in the electronics manufacturing industry. Michael has an MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management and holds a Master of Commerce and a Bachelor of Engineering, both from the University of New South Wales.

Marcelo Gonzalo

Regional Sales Manager - Americas

Marcelo joined Multos International in 2010 and, currently, leads the sales for Americas. Since July of 2021, he has assumed the business development in North America, being relocated in the United States of America in order to sustain the important MULTOS market share in the region. Also he continues being responsible for managing the fast growing Latin American business as well as skilled sales team in the region. Marcelo has been involved with card industry since 1996, starting as technical support and then moving into strategic positions on sales and business development with key industry players such as Datacard’s local distributor, Vasco Data Security distributor and with one of the largest card manufacturers in Brazil. Marcelo holds Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering with electronic specialization at Faculdade de Engenharia São Paulo, Business Management Pos Graduation at SENAC (São Paulo/SP) and MBA at Fundação Getúlio Vargas (São Paulo/SP).

Paul Wilson

Regional Sales Manager - EMEA

Paul joined the MULTOS community in 2016 and now leads the sales and business development activities in the Europe, Middle East and Africa region for Multos International. He is based in the UK and is responsible for building the MULTOS business throughout the EMEA region. As the Commercial Manager of the MULTOS Consortium he promoted the MULTOS brand worldwide and assisted business to leverage the technology for payments, ID, and IoT applications. Previously with Gemplus and later Gemalto he held business development and technical consulting roles providing mainly EMV related support. Paul joined the digital security industry over 20 years ago and has a business related Open BA (hons) degree from The Open University.

Edison Alonso

Sales Manager, Brazil

Edison has been in the smart card industry since 2004. Joined Multos International in 2011 supporting the business in the payment industry through issuers, card manufactures and perso bureaus in LATAM. From 2016 to 2020 he was allocated in Mexico City to support the business from Mexico, Central America and Andean Region. In 2021 he was back to Brazil to lead the business from Central to South America. Edison holds a Bachelor Degree in Physics by the University of Sao Paulo in Brazil.

José Tomás Hernández

Sales Manager, México

José Tomás joined Multos International in 2021, he is responsible for managing Mexican business, driving new opportunities and building on existing relationships. He has been responsible for 12 years in technology sales in the Telecom market of Mexico and Central America. Before the smart card industry. José Tomás received his Bachelor of Communications and Electronics Engineering from the National Polytechnic Institute in Mexico.

Rohit Mathur

Business Development for India & Rest of Asia regions

Rohit joined Multos International in 2018. He heads up MULTOS business development for India subcontinent & Rest of Asia regions. He is based at New Delhi, India. Rohit has 10+ years of work experience in sales & business development in smart cards and telecom verticals. He has served various financial institutions & government organizations. Rohit has a customer-oriented mentality and he is able to analyze customer needs and offer essential support to ensure customer success. He has played a vital role in promoting benefits of MULTOS technology to EMV card issuers and has ensured mass roll-out of EMV cards issuance on MULTOS platform in Asian regions. Rohit holds a Bachelor Degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering from Rajasthan University, Jaipur and an executive post-graduation degree in Business management from Alliance University, Bangalore.
